i recently came to this same epiphany that I was in control of everything in my life (with God's help of course) but when that clicked..ive felt so much more in control! thanks for sharing this!
This goes hand in hand with my favorite quote about happiness by Liz Gilbert: “Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.”
@ Mrs. Pancakes - It's a beautiful realization and makes it so much easier for us to do the work.
@ Jess - Liz Gilbert has a poetic way of making you understand your responsibility to your own happiness, doesn't she? I love reading her writing. Thank you so much for adding the quote. That's a keeper.
